6 Postpartum Essentials for Mom
As a first time mom who had a vaginal delivery and ended up with 1 stitch, here’s my 6 essentials for postpartum recovery.

Nipple Butter - Don’t second think this. Even if you choose a different nipple butter that’s not this Earth Mama one I linked, just get something because you will get raw and uncomfortable. I never ended up using the silverettes because this nipple butter did the trick for me.
Adult Diapers - I loved the Always Discreet adult diapers. This may be a little controversial, but I preferred them over the Frida Mom underwear. Since the adult diapers didn’t need me to place any additional absorbent pad into it, it felt less bulky and I only needed to worry about putting just 1 thing on.
Frida Mom Peri Bottle - Debating on buying this or just using the one the hospital gives you? Unless you have a toilet bidet, just buy the Frida Mom one - you’ll thank yourself later! Honestly, I have a toilet bidet and I still preferred the Frida Mom bottle. It’s just a lot easier to control where the water is going, and the spray feels nicer too.
Shower Chair - Ok, this one I just stumbled across. My husband broke his foot 5 months before I delivered our son and needed the shower chair since he couldn’t put weight on his foot. We planned on taking it out of the shower once I had the baby, but realized how useful it was while I was recovering from birth. I just know those few weeks would have gone much differently without this shower chair.
Witch Hazel - Witch hazel was great to have, and was much more cost effective than using the Tucks pads. Was easy to spray my diaper down in a pinch and was able to get right back to my baby.
Robe - Multi functional, right here! I used this during labor, washed it when we got home and then used it while I was learning how to use my body to feed my baby.
