Baby Shower Gift Bag for Mom

Have you ever gone to a baby shower and wanted to make sure not just this precious baby was taken care of, but also the sweet babe’s mama is too? So you think to yourself ‘well, what am I supposed to get her?!’ I’ve come up with a list of small, thoughtful items that will make any soon to be mom feel seen! These items can also double as her hospital bag essentials!

Slippers - A nice comfortable pair of slippers that are sturdy. Something she can just slip on and off if she chooses to take them to the hospital. Make sure they are closed toed and will not make her trip - after all, she’s bringing in precious cargo!

Makeup Removing Wipes - She’ll be wanting a way to quickly get her makeup off and if she gets an epidural, she won’t be able to get up to move to the bathroom. A lot of times after birth there’s not much time to think about having a clear face, this is where some makeup wipes will come in handy.

Dry Shampoo - What’s mom life without some unwashed hair? Give her some dry shampoo so she can spray some through her roots when she’s doing all the mommin’ and wants to give her hair a revamp. This is very useful too if she didn’t have time to wash her hair before labor, or if she needs to extend her stay at the hospital.

Matching Pajama Set - Any mom knows that wearing a matching pj set just feels…. right! In the middle of mom life, a matching set can make you feel put together. AND it can also be used as a going home from the hospital outfit, too! Make sure you know mama’s pregnancy size though, that way she has the option to use this gift in the hospital.

Water Bottle - Hydration is key during pregnancy, during labor, and during postpartum. A good water bottle can be used for all stages.

Portable Fan - Was I the only one who was always overheating during pregnancy? Labor was no different, and a small fan would have been amazing. I’ve linked a fan that can be attached to strollers as well, so it’s not just a 1 time use sort of thing!
